Style: fit, silhouette, and color basics

How to get more value from clothing by fixing fit, proportions, and color before buying statement pieces.
Clothing improves appearance when it supports your frame. Fit comes before brand: shoulder seams, sleeve length, trouser break, waist fit, and clean lines do more than logos.
Silhouette is the shape people notice before they notice details. If your upper body is narrow, structured outerwear can add presence. If your frame is already broad, cleaner drape may look sharper than extra bulk.
Start with a simple color base: black, white, cream, navy, grey, olive, denim, and muted earth tones. Most people look better with fewer colors used deliberately.
Shoes and grooming should match the outfit level. Clean sneakers can work, but dirty shoes or wrinkled basics can ruin otherwise decent style.
